Due to the pandemic, the annual Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon has to change into a Virtual Marathon 2020. For participants fundraising for The Fountain of Love and Life, it means they can design their own 5K routes and do the walk on any chosen day in October.
This is my eighth year to take part in the walkathon. I will turn this into a mini walking pilgrimage, starting from St Aidan’s Church, the site where my parish, Sacred Heart Chinese Catholic Mission, was first set up, to its present rented premises, Holy Spirit Church. The route I plan is a little over 5Km. On the way, I will pray for the success of FLL’s evangelisation endeavours and the wellbeing of all my sponsors.
