That's right, I'm walking my first 5 km race at 5 months old in Toronto, Canada from Melbourne, Australia! The money you donate goes to helping kids at Dekpor School in Ghana stay on the food program. Last year, my mum's school helped 13 students have breakfast & lunch at school for a WHOLE YEAR! Without the food program they wouldn't have any food to eat and that would mean they couldn't do their best learning. Some kids wouldn't be at school at all. This year I'm walking my first 5km race so we can still keep helping the kids at Dekpor School! Our goal is $3004.20 because that's my birthday! Any amount of money will be helpful, it doesn't cost much - only $12 helps to feed one student breakfast and lunch for a WHOLE MONTH! I am lucky to have food in my belly and I hope I can help the kids in Dekpor have food in their bellies too! Thank you for your donation :) Love from, Tessa

Dekpor School Development Organisation = hard-working volunteers improving: education, sanitation, clean water, nutrition, health, sponsorships, business start-ups, and crop diversity in rural Ghana.
Funds raised at this event are what allow us to run our food programme. Breakfast and lunch are served to 150 students at school, but, gee, we'd love to add even more of the 1000 students to the list of recipients!
You, too, can be part of something wonderful and SEE your fundraising efforts actually MAKE a DIFFERENCE! Give generously. Every single dollar truly helps!
