My Story…
Are we crazy?! Maybe. Adam and I are participating in our very first 5K marathon run EVER! We are not runners and this is all new to us, but Autism Ontario has provided so many opportunities for our family and we want to give back to the Simcoe Chapter in any way that we can.
We'll be running at the end of October and posting our time virtually. If you're able to donate to our team in any amount, large or tiny - We thank you SO MUCH for supporting us!! Every little bit counts :)
Description
Autism Ontario has participated in the Toronto Scotiabank Charity Challenge since 2013, to raise funds for our work supporting over 135,000 Ontarians - of all ages - on the autism spectrum. Our participants represent our 'family' - Board Directors, parents, siblings, staff, volunteers, friends, professionals and autistic individuals. 100% of funds raised come directly to Autism Ontario, and it's easy to fundraise. Do something that makes you feel good!
The work we do helps all autistic individuals and families in their communities have access to meaningful supports, information, and connections so they are equitably and seamlessly supported across their life course. You are helping us make these a reality.
