My Story…
It's that bittersweet time of year as I don my little used running shoes and trudge 5K to honour Canadian children and adults whose lives were cut short by Fanconi anemia, a genetic disorder that leads to bone marrow failure, leukemia and cancer.
The list sadly continues to grow: Aaron, Alcide, Amanda, Ameera, Audrey, Charlotte, Danielle, Drake, Evangeline, Jaclynn, Jamie, Janelle, Jason, Kevin, Matthew, Omer, Piper, Sanjeev, Sophia, Tali and Terri-Lee.
I am participating in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon/Half-marathon/5K Charity Challenge which is happening virtually the year all through October.
Please support the search for better treatments for FA and its related cancers to help all FA patients by sponsoring me, Annette, Sarah or any Fanconi Red Hots team member.
Your kindness is truly appreciated.
