My Story…
This year's STWM Charity Challenge is taking on a new form - a virtual 5K walk/run. My son Nicholas and I will be doing it together this year in our own neighbourhood, given the COVID-19 world we are now living in! My commitment to raising funds for Autism Ontario is as strong as ever, as this amazing organization adapts their service delivery to individuals and families whose needs have increased in these challenging times.
Description
Autism Ontario has participated in the Toronto Scotiabank Charity Challenge since 2013, to raise funds for our work supporting over 135,000 Ontarians - of all ages - on the autism spectrum. Our participants represent our 'family' - Board Directors, parents, siblings, staff, volunteers, friends, professionals and autistic individuals. 100% of funds raised come directly to Autism Ontario, and it's easy to fundraise. Do something that makes you feel good!
The work we do helps all autistic individuals and families in their communities have access to meaningful supports, information, and connections so they are equitably and seamlessly supported across their life course. You are helping us make these a reality.
