For participating in Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon Virtual Race 2020

My Story…

Once again this year I will be walking in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon Charity Challenge for The ABLE Network. Like most events, the STWM has gone virtual and instead of walking with 25,000 people throughout the streets of Toronto, on October 3rd we will be walking the trails in Aurora with masks in place but with our usual enthusiasm and energy!! Fundraising is essential to make this program accessible for many families who otherwise would find the cost beyond their financial reach. Due to Covid 19 this will be our only fundraiser for the year. Our participants need ABLE and we want to make sure we will still be here for them when they all can be fully and safely back in the community. I appreciate the financial stresses many face this year but if you are able please support my walk.

Description

The ABLE Network is a fee for service, registered charity located in York Region.  We are a community based program that provides relevant inclusive work and recreation opportunities for adults with Intellectual Disabilities in natural job and community settings.
