My Story…
Dear friends,
Hesperus Village is an amazing non-profit seniors residence. Focused on keeping everyone physically and mentally well and active, it has been able to weather the COVID storm in a remarkably positive and safe fashion with zero cases. If all senior’s places were like Hesperus - our province would be so much better.
To help fund the social and cultural activities of this community, I am asking you to consider supporting me on my 10 km walk in the Scotiabank Charity Challenge. 100% of your donation will go to Hesperus.
I became a member of the Hesperus Board (presently a board candidate) to help guide it to even greater success and continued effectiveness. Your donation - regardless of size - will show your commitment to better senior care and quality of life.
You can also further contribute by spreading the word to others who may wish to donate, or even perhaps join me and the Hesperus team as a participant walker/runner.

A rich cultural life, in its varied forms, enhances the health and lives of our residents. Social isolation is
unfortunately very common for seniors. Together with our residents, we co-create an enlivened and
rich social and cultural life to combat the isolation that some encounter due to physical or emotional
challenges or even financial constraints. Your donation will fund the costs associated with organizing a
series of social and cultural activities throughout the year.
