ABOUT TORONTO REHAB
We are proud to support the transformative experiences happening at Toronto Rehabilitation Institute every day, earning the institute a worldwide reputation as a leader in rehabilitation therapy and research.
Toronto Rehabilitation Institute is a member of the University Health Network (UHN) family, and is Canada’s largest academic health sciences centre dedicated to adult rehabilitation and complex continuing care. As an international leader in this field, we assist in the bold steps taken to dramatically improve outcomes for patients and their families. At Toronto Rehab, we embrace the potential of patients, and work with them to maximize their results. The courage of patients inspires us each and every day.
In addition to providing unparalleled support for patient care, Toronto Rehab is also home to KITE (Knowledge Innovation Talent Everywhere), the world’s largest state-of-the-art facility dedicated to rehabilitation research. This internationally renowned centre is developing innovative technologies, advanced treatments, and practical solutions to support the real-life challenges faced by people with disability. Our research also aims to prevent injury by developing more effective industrial design to make streets, homes and workplaces safer.
Toronto Rehabilitation Institute provides rehabilitation care and chronic disease management for people who have been affected by aging, and by conditions including brain injury, spinal cord injury, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and other complex illnesses such as cancer. Our commitment is to ensure our patients regain the skills, abilities and confidence to live life to the fullest.

On October 18th, let’s continue to revolutionize rehabilitation and maximize life by walking, wheeling, or running with Toronto Rehab. Join the Charity Challenge and dare yourself with your own “I Will.”.
Every year, funds raised are directed to areas identified by team captains. In the past, funds have been raised to support patient room improvements, much needed equipment for patient care, education, research initiatives, and areas of greatest need.
