The GMS Queen City Marathon is excited to be going virtual this year.
In light of the global Covid-19 pandemic and the current local public health recommendations on limiting large group gatherings we have made the decision to transition Saskatchewan's largest running event into a virtual running festival for September 2020.
With the move to a virtual event the GMS Queen City Marathon is no longer a race weekend but rather a RACE MONTH this year! All runners and walkers will have the entire month of September to complete one (or more) races. Can you say Scribbly Challenge Plus.
While we won't be able to run together this fall we will still be here to ensure you achieve your goals, celebrate your wins and get a virtual high five from your Queen City Marathon family.
Instructions on how to record your run or walk, receive your race shirt and medal as well as how to take advantage of some cool race month initiatives will come throughout the summer to your email inbox or watch our social media channels for details.
We encourage you to use your run this year to raise funds for one of our charity partners or find a partner of your own. With so many people in need during this pandemic help us show our community how amazing runners and walkers can be.

Relay Teams
Important: Relay teams must have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 people per team. Teams without 3 people will be disqualified.
- To sign up a relay team, each person on the team must select "42.2K Team Relay"under event options.
- You can register everyone on your team at once, or each team member can register individually.
- To register multiple team members at once, click "Add Another Team Member" after filling out each person's info.
- Please make sure to tell us the name of the relay team you are competing with when you register.
- The cost for each relay team member is per member.

Event Withdrawal Policy
Entries may not be transferred, given or sold to a third party or deferred to a future date. All fees are non-refundable.
Those racing under a false identity are not covered by event insurance and are not eligible for an official race time or any overall or age category awards. In addition, they can be disqualified and barred from entering future Run Regina events.
While it is not mandatory to inform us in advance that you are withdrawing from the race, it is most appreciated if you do let us know, as it helps us in our race weekend planning. A quick email to us at runqcm@hotmail.com to let us know that you are withdrawing is helpful to us and we appreciate you taking the time to let us know. Please remember to tell us from which event you are withdrawing. We regret that refunds of any fees cannot be offered.
