Sidney by the Sea Run / Walk Goes Virtual

The Sidney by the Sea Run / Walk is going Virtual for 2020,
thanks to the support of the Town of Sidney!
You won't want to miss this event and to support our two charities - Saanich Peninsula Hospital & Healthcare Foundation and the Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea!

Registration Goes Live on Wednesday, June 24th, 2020

You can walk, run, jog the traditional distances of - 8k, 5k and Kids Run or you can go further a sign up for the 10k distance. You choose....
Get your friends, coworkers, and family to sign up and join your team to be eligible for prizes.

Every participant will receive Endur Technical Souvenir Socks, finisher's medal & Lanyard and
you will be sent a downloadable race number to print off and wear during your event.
(Register early to guarantee your sock size)
The socks and medal will be dropped off / shipped to you after the event time period of Sept 20 - Oct 18th

Virtual Run/Walk Details:
In case you haven’t participated in one before, a virtual run is a run/walk that you do on your own, recording you distance and time yourself (if you want!). So rather than us all starting and finishing at Beacon Park in Sidney on September 20th, we will instead encourage you to map out your own route on a day and time that works for you between September 20th and October 18th. You can also do the distance over multiple days. Even a treadmill will work! Please do practice physical distancing as we really do not want to see any of you running together if we are still isolating.

We will be sharing more details on how to upload your photos, and clocked time as we get closer to the event.
