The Wild Run Goes Virtual in 2020 for Lemur Conservation
The Wild Run, formerly the 'Gorilla Run', now in its 16th year, was established in 2004 to raise funds for Mountain Gorillas and other endangered species.Over the last 13 years the race/relay has donated over $110,000 dollars to wild animals threatened with extinction and Run Calgary is pledging to continue our fundraising efforts for conservation.
Run Calgary and The Calgary Zoo are pleased to bring you the Virtual Wild Run in 2020 in support of lemur conservation. Run or walk your 10 mile race or sign up as a team and share the miles. Your virtual run or walk can be completed anywhere, and on any surface (trail, road, treadmill, track) anytime during the race period - September 20-30, 2020.

Virtual Race Information
Walk or run your race, your pace.... anytime and anyplace!
Purchase your registration and select to collect your swag by curbside pickup or have it mailed. Walk or run your race between September 20-30.
We encourage registered participants to track their run using RunKeeper, where your results will automatically sync with your Race Roster account and right onto the Results Leaderboard.
Alternatively, you can choose to screen capture (not mandatory) any fitness app or watch (Garmin, Strava, Fitbit etc.) and manually upload you time.
All registered participants will receive detailed instructions for completing their virtual race prior to the start of the race period.
GST & Processing Fees
Please note that each participant will be charged a processing fee plus 5% GST tax in addition to the race entry fee.
Refund Policy
Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
- No day of race registration, bib pickup or race changes. No refunds, transfers, medical comps or deferrals under any circumstances.
