About the Series

Come for the race, stay for the party!
As you know, our goal with the Alamo Beer Challenge is to help you test if you are on track to cross the finish line of the San Antonio Rock and Roll Marathon or the BCS Marathon. HOWEVER, you've probably been with us long enough or at least heard that we want you to have fun getting there also, so we will have food and beer at each race. So after the run, not only can you enjoy knowing that you are getting closer to your goal of a great marathon season, but you get to meet some other great and wild people along the way.

On race day it increases $10
**If you sign up within one week of the race, your shirt size will not be guaranteed to be available on race day** This DOES NOT mean you won't get your shirt, it'll just be ordered when you sign up and get in a bit later**

Each participant gets a tech shirt, medal, and free beer for running the race. We will also have other alcohol and food vendors there handing out samples.
(21 age limit for alcohol)

AWARDS
Awards will be for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th in the following categories.
14 and under, 15-20, 21-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 + If you are over 70 send me and email as you enter.

Age group awards will be based on chip time, overall winners and first master: male and female, on gun time.

Thanks for signing up for our race, sometimes things change and you have to transfer your race entry or change the race, we understand. Please understand that this takes time to make these changes and we charge $20 to make that change or transfer. It doesn't mean we don't love you.

NOTE ABOUT DISCOUNT CODES; If you are 16 or younger, or 70 and over you get an automatic 50% discount. Do not use an additional discount code. You will be disqualified if you combine an additional discount code.

And after, you are half way on your way to training for your half or full marathon season.

Age Deals

If you are 16 and younger we are giving you at 50% discount we want you to also take ownership of the race. When you finish, if you are able, come to the finish line and help the other runners. Stay and help clean up. You are young and we need your energy to make everything perfect.

Then be an ambassador for running and our running events, help us promote the events and the volunteers where ever you go. And on social media, snapchat, facebook, instagram..etc…

70+ participants will also get 50% off. If you can afford it we request that you make a small donation to marrowmatch. If you can not that is fine. We also ask that you take ownership of these races and help with advice to younger runners to keep them calm and caring.

DO NOT USE ANY ADDITIONAL DISCOUNT CODES IF YOU ARE GETTING THE 50% OFF, WE WILL CANCEL YOUR REGISTRATION.
