First Steps & Next Steps
The Beginner Running Clinic will introduce new runners to the basics of running through a walk/run program. The group is split into the 'first steps' and 'next steps' groups with each group catering to a different level of beginner. This is the perfect training group for those learning to run, coming back into running or just wanting a fun social run group. This session will prepare runners to run either 5k or 10k, specifically building for the TC10K.
Victoria & Langford locations: Thursdays, Jan 23rd - Apr 23rd, 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Shelbourne location: Tuesdays, Jan 21st - Apr 21st, 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Half Marathon & Marathon
The Frontrunners Half and Full Marathon clinic is geared towards those wanting to prepare for the BMO Vancouver Marathon and the Oak Bay Half Marathon. Participants should be comfortable running 1 hour. Group runs are on Wednesday nights with various workouts (hills, tempo, speed, etc) and long runs on Saturday mornings with a wide range of led pace groups that suits the participant's personal running goals. A half day "Frontrunners University" event will expose participants to a variety of topics such as technique, shoe fitting and injury prevention, and our knowledgeable Run Leaders can help with any running questions from new or experienced runners.

Wednesdays @ 5:30pm (Shelbourne & Westshore @ 6pm, or if you cannot make evening we have an additional run at YMCA Victoria @ 6am)
Saturdays @ 8:00am (Long Run)
