This training group is designed to accommodate a wide variety of experience and fitness levels. Whether your goal is to run your first Half Marathon and Marathon or to improve on a personal best times for those events, you will find a place that meets your needs in this clinic.
Reach Your Running Goals in 2020
We are offering a Fall 14 week training program that meets three times every week. During each of these sessions you can expect expert coaching that will cover a wide variety of topics including: running form, strength training, sports nutrition and recovery. The group will target a goal race at the end of the clinic that we encourage our club to run as a fun and inspiring way to celebrate the culmination of everyone's training.
Coaches Sheila Henricks and Joyce Park have both completed many half marathons and marathons, including New York City, plus ultras marathons and tons of local running events. Joyce is also a New Balance clinic graduate and both she and Sheila can be found on the sales floor at New Balance London. Their combined wealth of experience will help you get the most out of your training and realize your running goals.
Group runs will take place every week on Tuesday & Thursday evenings at 6:00pm, and Saturday mornings at 7:00am. We will meet and run from various locations including New Balance London throughout the week. This information will be provided to you by the coaching staff on a weekly basis via email and Strava.
Our clinic will be training for the The Road To Hope Marathon & Half Marathon November 8th in Hamilton or a local time trial. Around the Bay 30K November 29th could also be another option.
