Forrest Gump Hump 5k Trail Run

"RUN FORREST RUN" Run through the trails within Oak Ridge Prairie in Griffith, Indiana. You may encounter mud, water or snow plus the finish line is on top of a hill. This race is part of the 2020 Crazy Legs Race Series. All runners will receive one-size-fits all hat and gloves.

Here are a FYI's for the race on Sunday:

FIRST OF ALL THE RACE IS ON

Race is held at Oak Ridge Prairie 301 S Colfax St, Griffith, Indiana 46319

-There will be race day sign ups beginning at 8:15 am if you have family or friends that are on the fence to run it. Packet pick-ups begins at that time as well

-Online sign-ups will be open until Friday March 13th link here: We will have race day sign-up fees will be $25 cash or check

-Race start is at 9 am CST (please note for those coming from Eastern Time Zone)

-Course will be marked with pink and orange flags. You will finish on top of a large sled hill.

-Packet pick-up, race day sign-ups, food and bathroom are located at OUTDOOR shelter near start line. Granola bars, water and Gatorade will be there for you after the race to enjoy.

-Course maybe wet and muddy depends on how much it dry up by Sunday.

-We do old school timing after you finish you will receive a Popsicle stick. This stick represents your overall placing in the race. Please turn this stick in ASAP to the outdoor shelter where you pick up your packet. There will be no awards ceremony if you are top three in your age group you will receive your award after turning in your stick.

-Weather for Sunday in 40's partly sunny
