3rd Annual Big Gun Run 4.25 Miler

The Fort Miles Museum shares personal stories of defending coastal Delaware by US military forces and civilians, and how their actions shaped and influenced community life in Delaware. The Museum is housed in a unique WWII coastal battery complex that served an important role in WWII, the Cold War period and beyond. The signature exhibit – the 16” “Big Mo” Missouri Gun, was in position on the USS Missouri when the Japanese surrendered and ended the war in the pacific.

Help Bring a Piece of the USS Arizona to Fort Miles!
- FMHA is currently working to obtain a piece of the USS Arizona in Hawaii and bring home to the Fort! With the acquisition of this piece, and in conjunction with the 16" "Big Gun" from the USS Missouri, Fort Miles will be able to showcase pieces of both the beginning and end of WWII! Please consider contributing to this important project.

Entry Info

Entry fee- $35 pre-registration (until the Thursday before the race at noon) / $40 day of event

Guest fees: $15 for post race party $20 at the door

Packet Pick Up & Late Registration

Saturday night October 17th from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm or Sunday morning 8:30 am till 9:55 am

Day of Packet Pick up, late registration & bus transportation at Cape Henlopen Bath House parking lot.
