The Belmont Water Dog Run, a 501(c)(3) organization, is a community run that supports awareness and increases funding for local education. Beneficiaries of this annual event are the Belmont Redwood Shores School District and Carlmont Academic Foundation.
Normally, our event takes place in person. Given our current situation with the pandemic, we are unable to safely host the in-person event this year. Whether we are together in person or forced to participate virtually, our main priority is to provide a safe event for our community. Providing the opportunity to participate virtually, by completing your event over the span of two weeks, will allow us to be "together" as we make strides to support our students. So, grab your running shoes or your best walking shoes, put on some sunscreen, grab your pup (if you have one), and go out and enjoy your neighborhood. You have from October 10th through October 25th at 6pm to submit your results.

This event is for the kids! Get the kids outside and support them as they run or walk a mile distance. You can pick the day, time, and location of your event. Your event must be completed by 6pm on 10/25/2020.

This event is specifically for FIDO plus one owner! Get the leash, grab some waste bags, and put on those walking/running shoes. Fido will be sure to thank you as you sniff about the neighborhood and complete a mile distance. FIDO can pick the day, time, and location of your event. This event must be completed by 6pm on 10/25/2020. *Note- Only FIDO gets Swag for a job well done.

Virtual Race Information
Run or walk the distance you registered for while social distancing. You pick the time. You pick the location. You pick the date. Just be sure to fit your event within the timeframe of October 10th (starting at 7am) through October 25th (ending at 6pm).

A link to the Asics RunKeeper app will be sent to you in your registration confirmation email. You can upload your finish time for real-time results.

Packet Pickup or Packet Mailing
Belmont residents will have their packet dropped off to them by one of our team. Participants outside of Belmont will have their packet mailed.
