Stair Heroes is a unique, first ever stair-climb to be held in Halifax.
Together we will RISE-UP for the 1 in 5 Nova Scotians living with lung disease and raise critical awareness and funds for the Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
Our hero theme is based on our partnership with Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency Services.
Our community heroes will be joining us and climbing the 18 flight stair-well in full duty gear at Scotia Square to show their support of lung health!
Our top fundraiser will win a GRAND PRIZE - a $1500 travel voucher to fly anywhere in Canada.
We encourage everyone to register and participate (registration fee of $25) and to help raise critical donations.
Anyone under the age of 18 will require a legal guardian to sign their waiver.
Participants can choose what category they would like to participate in; competitive or recreational. There will also be a special category for our firefighters. If you still want to support our event but cannot attend in person you will have an opportunity to make an honorary donation.
You can register as an individual or a team. Dress up in your team colours, wear uniforms, office T’s, or in honor of someone you know living with lung disease…. Whatever you choose. Spirit awards will be given to the team with the most spirit!
Registration fee includes; a participation medal, swag bag, light refreshments and entertainment for the entire family. Scotia Square will be bustling with family activities, music and special guests.
All participants will receive a unique URL that you can use to raise pledges easily; share to your social media, email colleagues, friends, it’s that easy! You can personalize your fundraising page with a photo and a personal story.
Our goal is that each participant has fun and does their absolute best to raise an average of $125 in pledges.
