Join us for the 10th Annual Run for God - Run at the Mill – 5K and 10K CORONA EDITION. It's the same race, just different.
We know everyone is ready to race after months of Corona lockdown so we are getting outside the box to make this another awesome yet safe race experience. In fact, the new format is so unique, you'll want to race just so you can say that you were a part of it! Below is how things will work.
- We've moved the venue down the road 1 mile to Grove Level North XC Trail. Praters Mill is great, but keeping everyone socially distanced would be just about impossible and now we have 65 acres to do so. Yes, the race is now on a smooth grass and mulch trail. This is the home of Dalton State Roadrunners and Coahulla Creek High School XC Team, it also has some much needed shade.
- We have eliminated the Half Marathon this year because logistically it just wouldn't work. Don't worry, if you were registered for the half then we are moving you to the 10K and giving you a year of RunClub absolutely free ($120 Value).
- It's now a Time Trial Start. In an effort to keep everyone safe and socially distanced, and to comply with state regulations, the starting line will open at 6:30AM and will close at 8:30AM. That's right, you show up and start whenever you like. Don't worry, the timers will workout the details of your finish time, all you need to worry about is finishing and collecting your schwag.
- Of course, the Virtual Option is still available, and nothing is changing there.
From what we are seeing, we are one of the only races around. Come out and enjoy the day, collect some great schwag, enjoy some sense of normalcy, and support a ministry that is still pointing people to the saving grace of Jesus Christ even during these challenging times.

Flat and fast. This out and back course has one minor hill which only serves to increase your speed as you make your way back to the finish line. Many PR's have been set on this fast course.

It's a distance you just don't see much of anymore, but we know there are those out there who love this challenge. This 6.2 mile course follows the first and last sections of our half marathon course and is sure to leave you in awe at the beauty of this race course.

Can't join us for the physical race but you'd like to still like to be part of this very special event? Join us from anywhere in the world. Choose this option and you t-shirt, medal, and race schwag will be sent to you after the race. Simply mark off a course in your hometown and join us. You can even hop on the treadmill and sit back and wait on your gear. It's really pretty simple!

T-Shirts
All 5K finishers will receive a short sleeve moisture-wicking technical t-shirt. Half Marathon and 10K finishers will receive a long sleeve moisture-wicking technical t-shirt.
Be sure to sign up early to be guaranteed a t-shirt at packet pickup. Everyone who registers and races WILL receive a t-shirt, however, those who register after Wednesday - August 12, 2020, will have to pick theirs up at a later date!
Ages 18 and Under
Team Competition
Be a part of the team competition this year, which is based on participation. You can register as a church, community organization, or even as a corporation or workplace. When you register, look to see if anyone has created a team for your organization. If not, you can start a team and get others to join you! You will see the Team section as you register. Gather up all you can and there just may be a team award in your future!
Route
Course will be the 1.5 mile loop at Grove Level North. 10K runners will complete 4 loops and 5K runners will complete 2. View course map HERE.

How are the Proceeds used?
Run for God is a Nonprofit Corporation. 100% of the proceeds from our races are used in one of two ways. When you register, you will be helping to take the name of Jesus to the running world through the "Who do you say that I AM?" ad campaign. We have seen hundreds of eternal decisions made in response to the campaign you are supporting! If you'd like to know more, please visit RunforGod.com. The second way you are helping is to keep the day-to-day operations of Run for God moving. Our revenue comes from books, t-shirts, donations, and races.
If you can't make it to race day, please consider being a Run for God financial supporter in lieu of your race entry!
Why do we wait for the last runner to finish before handing out awards?
We get this question often, and we understand that some of you fast runners may be waiting a while before getting your award. But here at Run for God, we have decided that EVERYONE should experience that magical finish line experience no matter what their time may be. For this reason, we hope that you will hang around and help us cheer every runner in, and be inspired by those who just a short time ago were saying “I can’t” and are now saying “I did.”
