The Famous Canadian Beer Run & Festival
Our 2020 event was postponed as a result of the COVID19 pandemic. If you are a registered participant (who did not elect to receive a partial refund) your registration has been deferred to our next event (TBA). No further action is required.
In the absence of a current outlook for the return of mass-participation events, we do not have a set date for our next event. Our next steps will be determined in consultation with the provincial government, health officials, management at Ontario Place and our event stakeholders. We will keep our participants informed through our social media pages, website and email communications.
Thank you to all of our friends, fans and amazing beer runners for your continued support as we navigate these unprecedented times!
About the Run
Take in stunning views of Lake Ontario, the CN Tower and city skyline as you take a tour of Ontario Place’s East and West Islands. This closed-to-traffic 5-kilometre route is run on wide, paved paths and is mostly flat with a few short hills and a pedestrian bridge crossing. There is one water station on course. Cross the finish line and you’ll be bestowed with your very own Famous Canadian Beer Run stein, and two beers to get you started at the Craft Beer & Food Festival. The course is not timed, and walkers, runners and beer-lovers of all abilities are welcome.
Six wave start times are available and are limited to 500 participants each, ensuring that there is plenty of room on the course for you to take in the scenery. Choose your preferred wave start time when you register.
Included with run registration is a custom Famous Canadian Beer Run stein, soft cotton run shirt, entry into the post-run Festival and beverage tokens good for 2 full drinks or 4 sample pours from our beer, cider or vodka vendors.
About the Festival
Our craft beer and food festival is where the magic happens. Cross the finish line and enter the Festival, where craft beer vendors are waiting for you to stop by their booths! Enjoy your favourites or sample new brews as you and your friends relax in Muskoka chairs while listening to live music. Cider and vodka cocktails are also on offer, as well as delicious food from Toronto’s most sought-after food trucks. Peruse the other booths or just enjoy an afternoon of relaxation.
Festival Only passes are available for non-runners at a cost of $25.
Included with Festival Only registration is a custom Famous Canadian Beer Run stein, entry into the post-run Festival and beverage tokens good for 2 full drinks or 4 sample pours from our beer, cider or vodka vendors.
Run and Festival Only passes restricted to ages 19+. Festival area is open to the public, but only registered runners and passholders can participate in the sampling. Festival opens at 10:30 a.m. Additional beverage tokens can be purchased online or on-site at the Festival.
