Choose your 2020 New Year challenge at the Fort Bliss Half Marathon. Half Marathon is set to begin at 7:30 a.m. and is aimed at more advanced runners. Finisher Medals will be awarded to participants upon completion of the half marathon.
The half marathon is a great midpoint event for training for the El Paso Marathon! If you're not quite ready to tackle 13.1 give the 5k a chance.
Open to El Paso and surrounding communities!
Packet pickup closes at 0700 for ALL RUNNERS, pre-registered runners and those that register day of. If packet is not picked up by 0700 bib and chip will not be issued. Runners can participate in event but will not be eligible for awards and time will not be recorded.

Finisher Medals (Half Marathon)
Finisher medals guaranteed to all half marathon finishers.
Age Categories (Half Marathon)
Males and Females will each have competitive age groups as follows: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-over.
Awards
Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each age category of the half marathon. Overall awards will be presented to the top male and female finisher in the half marathon.
***Awards will not be presented for 5K.***
Numbers will be required of all runners and bib pickup will be available at the Soto Physical Fitness Center the morning of the event. Bib Tags must be filled out to include: name, age, and unit. Bibs must be placed mid-chest and chip on shoe.Runners not following these guidelines will not receive an official time for the race and will not be eligible for awards.
Gate Access
Competitors not possessing a military ID can enter Fort Bliss through the Chaffee access control point which is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Drivers must provide proof of insurance and driver's license to obtain an access pass, please allow minimum 75 minutes for this process.
You may also obtain a pass prior to the event to avoid possible delays, passes are valid for 30 days. All individuals in vehicle must have a photo id.
