LCMS is hosting their 6th annual 5K race benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation as well the sports program at LCMS. We are proud to work in collaboration with local sponsors to present this exciting community event.
March 25 UPDATE:
The spread of the COVID-19 virus and the social distancing we are all now practicing until further notice has allowed us to invite everyone to participate in a very unique event - the 1st Paws For A Cause VIRTUAL 5k. All registrants are asked to chose 1 day from Monday, April 20, to Sunday, April 26, to run or walk the 5k distance at home, in the neighborhood, or on an exercise device. Results are to be uploaded at this website. Awards will be determined, posted at www.J7Sports.net, and then be available for pickup at LCMS.
We encourage you to download the "RUNKEEPER" app on your phone, run or walk a 5k route of your choice, & then upload the time to Race Roster's results page. Sending an image of a clock or stopwatch that displays your 5k result is also acceptable. Awards will be determined from the uploaded results that are confirmed through an app or image.

Race Day: on the track from 6:30-7:15
** We will do our best to deliver all student and parent packets directly to classrooms on Friday
Packets will include your Goody Bag of sponsor coupons and ads, course map, electronic race bib w/ pins, and tech shirt.

USES RFID (CHIPS) TAGS ON THE RACE BIB.

WILL BE AVAILABLE BEGINNING WITH THE START OF THE RACE. ALR INCLUDES: LIVE CLOCK, INDIVIDUAL OVERALL FINISH, INDIVIDUAL OVERALL PLACE & TIME, INDIVIDUAL DIVSION PLACE, AND INDIVIDUAL AVG. SPEED (MPH) AND AVG. PACE PER MILE.

Restrooms and Parking
The Paws for a Cause 5k will start and finish on the
east side of the LCMS campus at the running track.
Restrooms will be available at the school.
Parking is available at the school and on the campus of Partin Elementary.
