Everyone is welcome to register for the I Love Regina Run taking place Sunday, May 3. The event is in partnership with Run Regina with proceeds going to support UnderstandUs, a Regina-based organization that creates awareness campaigns to spark positive conversations about mental health.

The family-friendly event welcomes Reginians and visitors to our city of all ages to register to walk, run or wheel in a 3km, 5km or 10km event. The event has affordable registration fees to allow as many participants as possible to get involved. This is a great opportunity for less-experienced runners to try out a road race environment without the pressure of competition, but also for race enthusiasts looking to get in shape for marathon season.

Join Mayor Michael Fougere this year to stay active and have fun. Participants will receive a race t-shirt and commemorative medal at the event. Show your community pride and register with your friends, family, classmates, teammates or colleagues today!

The Course

Volunteer course marshals will direct runners around the course and assist in crossing intersections. Please watch out for vehicles and people on race morning. Pathways and roadways may be shared.

Please note: Athletes competing with Wheelchair – This race may navigate over curbs, gravel paths and sidewalks making it unsuitable for wheelchair racing. Strollers

All children in strollers must be registered participants in the event and have their race numbers displayed, either on their shirts or on the stroller.

UnderstandUs is a local non-profit organization that educates people on mental health through presentations, workshops, online resources and awareness campaigns.

Entries may not be transferred, given or sold to a third party or deferred to a future date. All fees are non-refundable.

Those racing under a false identity are not covered by event insurance and are not eligible for an official race time. In addition, they can be disqualified and barred from entering future Run Regina events.

Race Cancellation Policy: The I Love Regina Run runs rain or shine, within the reasonable weather expectations for the beginning of a Saskatchewan May. In the event that weather conditions are deemed by Run Regina organizers to be potentially hazardous to participants and volunteers, we reserve the right to briefly postpone or cancel the event outright. Cancellation of the event may take place either prior to the start of the event or at any time while the event is taking place. A brief postponement and/or outright cancellation of the event may also take place for any other reason or situation wherein the Run Regina organizers feel conditions may be potentially unsafe for participants and volunteers. The decision of the Race Director is final.
