The Beaver Flat 50 is an outrageous run and outrageously fun. This is the best worst thing you'll do in September. It's wet shoes, ankle strain, sandy hands, scratched shins. It's hill repeats in the worst kind of way. It's off-camber very narrow animal trail. It's cacti, juniper bushes, rock, sand and water. But most important, it's fun.
If the 50km isn't for you yet, try the 20km, 10km or 5km. They're hard and fun too.
New for 2020:
- Full refunds available from December 1, 2019 - March 31, 2020.
- 50% refund available from April 1, 2020 - June 30, 2020.
- Absolutely no refunds from July 1, 2020 - September 19, 2020.
- You can transfer between distances (e.g. from 50km to 20km) from December 1, 2019 - September 1, 2020 AS LONG AS THE EVENT IS NOT FULL. If it's full, your S.O.L. - run the race you registered for or don't. Sorry, not sorry. It's the only way.
- You can transfer your bib to another runner, but you have to do it through Race Roster. We don't allow a personal transfer of bib because we need racers' contact information and we need people to complete a waiver for insurance purposes. You can transfer bib from December 1, 2019 - September 1, 2020.
- Runners under the age of 16 that want to participate in the Beaver Flatzilla 50 or the Dam Hard 20 must do so with a parent or guardian chaperone.
Same as last year:
- We will not be keeping a wait list. Register early to ensure you get a spot.
- We are introducing a 45+ Master's division.
- Racers 15 years old and under qualify for a 25% junior racer discount.
- No deferrals. If you cannot make the 2020 race, your registration cannot be deferred to 2021.
Train hard. Run well. Be merry.
Please note: event organizers reserve the right to cancel the Beaver Flat 50 at any time for any reason, including inclement weather. But we'll do everything in our power to run the event before cancellation is considered.
