Help Cathy raise money

I am running the BCS Half Marathon in December for the 10th consecutive year and I am happy to be fundraising for Mercy Project.  I didn't realize that when I ran this race 10 years ago how Mercy Project would touch my life.

Mercy Project has an amazing goal of ending child slavery in Ghana by empowering families and communities with sustainable economic solutions in order to free children from forced child slave labor.

They have done amazing work and have freed almost 200 children!  It is such amazing and inspiring work and I was so moved to fundraise for this great organization this year.  Go here to learn more about Mercy Project:  https://mercyproject.net/

Each year as I finish the race, I look forward to seeing the faces of the children that have been freed from child slavery.  (they put up large posters of each child that has been freed!) And I love it that each year there are more and more children.  It is always such an emotional way to finish the race because you remember that it isn't about you or finishing the race, but about helping to free these children from slavery so that they can go to school and have a future!
