My Story…
Hello Friends! I know that we are all asked to donate to causes throughout the year, and now I am asking you to consider contributing to a beautiful cause called The Mercy Project. This will be my third year to run a half marathon and fundraise for them again. Here is the Mission Statement for the Mercy Project:
Mercy Project’s mission is to rescue children from slavery. We partner with families and communities trapped in the cycle of poverty, empowering them with sustainable economic solutions in order to free children from forced labor.
Last year the entire final mile of the run, the street was lined with pictures of the children that they have saved from FORCED LABOR! It was an incredible way to finish the run and to think about how lucky I am and I hope that I could have a small impact on the future of these children.
