The Cayman Islands Red Cross aims to protect human dignity by helping vulnerable people in crisis. We work towards creating an engaged, empowered and resilient community through our variety of programs and community project – you can find them here!

This year, we are have undertaken our biggest construction project yet: renovating our Hurricane Shelter and headquarter, in a campaign called Shelter from the Storm. 

Whether it’s learning how to protect children from sexual abuse, developing CPR and First Aid Skills, preparing the community for emergency response, or providing a safe refuge from a storm, the Cayman Islands Red Cross Hurricane Shelter provides a hub of safety, training and empowerment. 

Our building is in dire need of renovations to meet current building code and provide a safe and conductive space to the vulnerable populations we serve in the community.
