Many other challenges are more focused on overall mileage, this challenge is to get you out to run all over the great state of Michigan! While you SHOULD be training for each race distance, this challenge only cares about your completed races! Upon signing up, you will receive a spreadsheet where you will input your races, and send them in hopefully once a month.

Robin-5k Challenge Closed
The “Robin” represents the state bird. Just because its "just a 5k challenge", don't relax too much on this one! You must run a 5k in every month of the year to complete the challenge, and in Michigan, sometimes the weather isn't as cooperative as we would always like. The purpose/goal of this challenge, is to get you to run as many races across the state as possible. The 5k challenge has you running a 5k every month between January 1st, 2020 and December 31st 2020. Each race, to be counted, must be an official race. There needs to be proof of completing the race before it will count towards your goal either online results or a finishers certificate along with verification the race existed! Paid entry gets you not only a pretty sweet t-shirt, but a truly unique Michigan themed medal upon completion of your challenge!

Wolverine- 10k Challenge Closed
The “Wolverine” is the unofficial state mammal. For this challenge, you must complete 10- 10k races between January 1st, 2020 and December 31st, 2020! For these races, you must have a start and finish on the record. Each race must be an official race/fun run, that starts and finishes in Michigan. We need to be able to verify you started and finished each race throughout the year. Please keep in mind, that training is a necessity to run, and you should not "just run" the races only. Please take the time to train properly, as we want you to finish in better health than you started! The purpose of this challenge, is to get you out running, to see our great state and what it has to offer! Petoskey Stone- Half Marathon Challenge Closed
This challenge is named after the official state rock, the Petoskey Stone. For this challenge, you must complete 6 Half Marathons races between January 1st, 2020 and December 31st, 2020! So, time to get off the couch and stop being a "rock"! For these races, you must have a start and finish on the record. Each race must be an official race/fun run, that starts and finishes in Michigan. We need to be able to verify you started and finished each race throughout the year. Yooper Challenge Closed
The Yooper Challenge is a little different! To complete the Yooper Challenge, you must complete 3 races in da UP and 3 in the LP. Best thing about this challenge, there are no restrictions on distances. You can run any combination of 3 races in the UP and any combination of 3 races in the LP. All races must be run between January 1st, 2020 and December 31st, 2020! For these races, you must have a start and finish on the record. Each race must be an official race/fun run, that starts and finishes in Michigan. We need to be able to verify you started and finished each race throughout the year. Great Lakes Challenge Closed
This challenge gets super crazy! To complete this challenge, you must run any race greater than a 5k in distance, in a state or province bordering one of the GREAT LAKES! Only one race counts per lake. So if you are looking to conquer Lakes Michigan and Huron, you would have to run two separate races. Here is an example of what it would look like: Lake Superior- Minnesota, Wisconsin, Upper Peninsula Lake Michigan- Wisconsin, Michigan(Upper or Lower), Illinois, Indiana Lake Huron- Michigan(Upper or Lower), Ontario Lake Erie- Michigan(Lower only), Ontario, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York Lake Ontario-New York State, Ontario You must complete this challenge between January 1st, 2020-December 31st, 2020.
