Canada's #1 Boston Qualifier is going virtual!

With a lot of uncertainty surrounding large scale events in Ontario this Fall due to Covid-19, we’ve made the tough decision to turn the Hamilton Marathon Road2Hope weekend into a Virtual Event. This is not how we had envisioned the fate of this year’s race and it was our true hope to be able to provide you with an actual event! That being said, we hope to offer something very special as you build up towards our run this year.

Our race weekend has always been about creating an event that local charities can use as a way to raise funds for the amazing things they are doing in our city and beyond. With charities seeing a drop in fundraising dollars, we want to put on an event to help them. As well as supporting charities there is a lot in it for you! Included in the cost of the event is a Virtual Training Plan customized to your fitness level and race distance, multiple weekly gear giveaways totalling $8,000 in product value, a special discount code for 15% OFF all in-line shoes and apparel through the Runner’s Den online shop, and much more!

We are still hoping to get you on the start line!

We are closely monitoring the regulations set by provincial and federal leaders. If in-person large scale events are allowed to happen, we will set up a chip-timed race within those regulations. If you sign-up for the virtual event, you will have the first opportunity to gain entry into the in-person event. It’s our hope that we will be able to see you all this Fall!
