Have you ridden in Canada? Our Niagara Shores Comfort Tour takes you for 6 days and 5 nights in the heart of Niagara, and you’ll see things you never dreamed of.
We follow the Water
Fort Erie Ontario, just across the Niagara River from Buffalo, NY, is the start and end point on this tour. On our first day we head west along Lake Erie, then turn north on the Welland Canal for an overnight stay at the Inn at Lock 7. You will see all types of freighters on the canal, including both salt water and fresh water vessels.
We follow the canal until it ends at Lake Ontario, then we turn east and enjoy two nights in charming Niagara-on-the-Lake. Take a day off the bike and explore the town on foot! One highlight here is a private tour for us from the Historical Society. Then we head up the river past the Butterfly Gardens, the Flower Clock, and the famous Gorge, for our last night out in Niagara Falls. It's a short bike ride, but there are hundreds of sights along the way, plus many great attractions in the Falls. Our last day we follow the upper Niagara River back to for Erie.
This is a Comfort Tour, with about 100 miles of planned riding over 4 days, plus a day-off to tour Niagara-on-the-Lake. We have additional routes for busy beavers who need more mileage during the tour. Please understand our mileage theory here. Niagara has many sights, and you’ll have a full day if you stop and see them! If, however, you need more miles, we have a number of wonderful extra-credit routes for you. Your vacation, your choice!
Registration is quick and easy, just use the link below and tell us if you’re registering for two guests in a shared room, or if you’re a solo traveler. If you are selecting the two guest option, please ensure you click "add another registrant" to the bottom of the registration form. For the sake of your budget, we recommend making the $250 deposit; we'll invoice you for the balance.
