My Story…
Lilia Jean Barton was born at Red Deer Hospital 5 weeks early Feb 25, 2020. With a scary rushed trip to Red Deer in the middle of the night she came into this world. The nurses at the NICU are amazing people, we owe so much to their compassion and kindness. Ronald McDonald House took us in with open arms, made us feel at home during such a nervous time. All the staff were incredible, we did not go without anything. When we checked out after 5 nights, I said that one day I will give back and this is my opportunity. I am running a half marathon on Sat July 11th. Please donate and support a great cause.

RMHC Alberta is so excited to announce our very first virtual run! I'm running and fundraising to support the families who need to stay at a Ronald McDonald House in Alberta.
In 2019, RMHC Alberta served families from 194 communities across Alberta.
The Houses in Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, and Medicine Hat are not a nice to have; they are a must have. 1 in 4 Canadians knows someone who has needed to rely on a Ronald McDonald House. I'm lacing up my shoes in support of those families, support me in my efforts to Hustle for the House!
I invite you to join me on this journey; I'm going the distance to run, but need your help to go the distance for RMHC families who need your support now more than ever.
