My Story…
Our little family spent 65 days at the Ronald McDonald House in Calgary when our daughter was fighting for her life in the Alberta Childrens Hospital at 5 months old. She was very lethargic from flu like symptoms. The nurses and doctors worked around the clock to keep her hydrating while trying to figure out a diagnosis. After weeks of tests (xray, blood work, ultrasounds, EKGs, catheters, MRI, scopes, and numerous IVs) they determined she had no ville in her stomach to absorb food. Falon was fed through IV nutrition and on immunosuppressants for a year. A year and half later she is still undiagnosed but thriving.
We were so fortunate to have the Ronald McDonald House next to the Childrens Hospital and available to us to make the hardest times in our lives be that much more bearable. Our family would like to thank anyone who makes a donation, no matter the amount, as it really truly does make a difference in peoples lives who are forced to be in similar situations that we were.

RMHC Alberta is so excited to announce our very first virtual run! I'm running and fundraising to support the families who need to stay at a Ronald McDonald House in Alberta.
In 2019, RMHC Alberta served families from 194 communities across Alberta.
The Houses in Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, and Medicine Hat are not a nice to have; they are a must have. 1 in 4 Canadians knows someone who has needed to rely on a Ronald McDonald House. I'm lacing up my shoes in support of those families, support me in my efforts to Hustle for the House!
I invite you to join me on this journey; I'm going the distance to run, but need your help to go the distance for RMHC families who need your support now more than ever.
