Help Erin raise money

Shortly after birth, our daughter Fia was flown by medivac from Whitehorse, Yukon to Edmonton due to an unexpected emergency resulting in hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (a type of brain injury from lack of oxygen). She was admitted to the NICU at the Stollery Children's Hospital and my husband and I were flown down several hours after her. We had no idea where we would stay and were very fortunate to learn about Ronald McDonald House from a social worker. We ended up spending a month at the Edmonton house while Fia was in the hospital and there are no words to describe the level of comfort, privacy, and understanding that the house offers to families going through both emergency and routine medical care for their children. It was a traumatic time for us, we were in shock, and the Edmonton house was our safe haven. Since then, we have stayed there multiple times when we fly down for her specialist appointments. RMH has made a huge difference for us and we want to help other families!
