My Story…
Hi friends! Thank you for being here! My name is Rebecca Westman, and the Ronald McDonald House Charities Alberta has been a huge blessing to our family. Our son Iver was born with congenital heart disease, and has had 3 open heart surgeries (4 days old, 4 months old, and 2 years old) at the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton. We live 3 hours away from the hospital, and the Ronald McDonald House was our home away from home while our son was undergoing his surgeries.
The House in Edmonton provided us with much more than just a room. It was a place of refuge during the hardest timed of our life. They went above and beyond, helping us with our every need, and continue to be there for us every step of Iver's heart journey.
Now, it's time to give back! We are running to raise donations to the Houses in Alberta! Please donate today and help keep families like ours close!

RMHC Alberta is so excited to announce our very first virtual run! I'm running and fundraising to support the families who need to stay at a Ronald McDonald House in Alberta.
In 2019, RMHC Alberta served families from 194 communities across Alberta.
The Houses in Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, and Medicine Hat are not a nice to have; they are a must have. 1 in 4 Canadians knows someone who has needed to rely on a Ronald McDonald House. I'm lacing up my shoes in support of those families, support me in my efforts to Hustle for the House!
I invite you to join me on this journey; I'm going the distance to run, but need your help to go the distance for RMHC families who need your support now more than ever.
