My Story…
In the summer of 2018 our son was born early at the red deer hospital @32 weeks gestation, due to unknown circumstances. We were faced with a new financial, and emotional challenge we had not expected! Living outside of the city of red deer posed challenges as our son needed to stay in the Nicu for up to a month! We were so emotionally distraught leaving our son in the hospital each day, but Ronald McDonald house helped us to be able to stay within walking distance of the hospital. This took a HUGE weight off of our shoulders, they made sure we had support from their staff who were always uplifting and willing to help in any way, they fed us and loved on us, it was what we needed during that emotionally challenging time in our lives. 1 1/2 years later we also ended up staying for 1 week when our 2 child was born, and once again were speechless at the support we received! We are SO grateful for what RMDH does for families with kids in the hospital! Please donate to our run!

RMHC Alberta is so excited to announce our very first virtual run! I'm running and fundraising to support the families who need to stay at a Ronald McDonald House in Alberta.
In 2019, RMHC Alberta served families from 194 communities across Alberta.
The Houses in Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, and Medicine Hat are not a nice to have; they are a must have. 1 in 4 Canadians knows someone who has needed to rely on a Ronald McDonald House. I'm lacing up my shoes in support of those families, support me in my efforts to Hustle for the House!
I invite you to join me on this journey; I'm going the distance to run, but need your help to go the distance for RMHC families who need your support now more than ever.
