Help us raise money

Our team name comes from one of the dozens of nicknames we had for John during our stay in Canada, when he unexpectedly arrived 15 weeks early. We were fortunate to be able to stay in the Ronald McDonald House in Calgary for a month last summer/fall when he was in the NICU at Foothills Medical Centre. RMH really did give us the most hospitable home environment where all of our needs were taken care of. It allowed us to focus on spending time with John. Then we could come home to warm meals, a comfy bed, and other people who understood what we were experiencing. We hope no one ever needs the services of a RMH, but if you do, know that you will be well taken care of. Please join us in walking whatever distance you are able! We will be aiming for a nice slow and steady 5k :). If you are further able to support the cause by donating to RMH, any dollar amount is so appreciated, and will go towards helping families like ours, who never expected to need it.
