Dear Trail Friends,
We sincerely hope that you and your family is safe and healthy during these challenging times we continue to face.
As much as we are chomping at the bit to be able to open registration for our 2021 races, we are unable to move forward until the situation facing all of us improves to the point where large outdoor gatherings are allowed and our Park partners are able to issue permits for events.
So please hang in there, keep up your training in a safe and distanced manner and let's cross our fingers (and toes!) that we will be able to host you sometime this year!
In the meantime, check out our new virtual series - We Run The North: Canada's National Parks 10K Series
Cheers,
Norman & Jodi

Dear Trail Friends,
Gotta Run Racing, along with the global community, has faced unprecedented challenges due to COVID-19. We have all experienced some form of loss, disappointment and adversity in the last few months. The safety and health of our runners, volunteers and community is our foremost priority.
Ontario Parks has withdrawn permits for special events for the remainder of 2020 therefore Chase the Coyote will be cancelled. We appreciate and understand your disappointment. These are challenging times for all of us, but with the support of our participants, volunteers and community partners, we are confident that we will return to the trails stronger than ever, when it’s safe to do so.
While this is a disappointing outcome, we know it is the best one for the current situation. We want to continue to support our community even without this event so we will be donating a portion of every Virtual Run registration fee to our charitable partner, Procyon Wildlife.
Staying active, while maintaining a social distance and obeying government regulations, is imperative. We all run for different reasons but can agree that the benefits to our mental health are immeasurable.
If you have already registered for this event, please visit your inbox for details on how you can use your registration fee as we have a few options for you.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding moving forward.

Drop Bags
Due to the size of the event, parking is at a minimum in the lot so you may be directed to park on 3rd line. This year parking on 3rd line is limited to West side of road only - this will be enforced. We will have shuttle cars up and down 3rd Line. We STRONGLY encourage runners to carpool to the event.
For 25K/14K racers, you will be able to check a small bag at the Start/Finish line. You can pick up a label to write your name and bib # on it at the registration desk to attach to the front of your bag.
For 50K runners there will be a designated drop bag/aid station area at the start/finish line which is also the beginning of your second 25km loop. More details to follow.
Training Day - will return in 2021
Training Day 2021
Please join us for a free training day at Mono Cliffs. We will be starting at 10:00am from the main parking lot which is also the start/finish line of the race.
The new 14K route will be flagged to tackle Cardiac Hill and the 64 Steps to Ruin, as well as the Roots Of All Evil for an additional 3k for those who would like to know what they are getting into if you decide to take on the 25K or 50K.
Drinks and snacks will be provided to those you make it back to the main parking without getting taken out by the Coyote.
Hope to see you there!
