23rd Annual Zoo Run

The health and safety of our Zoo Run participants, vendors, sponsors and staff have always been our top priority. In light of the many unknowns regarding COVID-19 and our desire to adhere to health officials’ recommendations, we’ve decided to cancel this year’s Zoo Run. Participants can choose to receive a full refund or designate their registration fee as a charitable donation to the Fort Worth Zoo. Those options will be sent to each registered participant's email. Keep an eye on your inbox!

We want to thank you for your understanding and flexibility regarding this cancellation and humbly ask for your continued commitment to the Fort Worth Zoo during this time. We rely on daily admission and events like Zoo Run to cover our operating expenses, which support activities like education programs and conservation projects around the world.

Given the fear and anxiety so many in our community are experiencing, we think now is an especially good time to engage in physical activity and enjoy the benefits of time in nature. We encourage you to spend the morning of April 4 similar to how you would have spent the time with us -- running, walking or strolling your neighborhood, a nearby park, area nature trail or a local school track, all while practicing the Center for Disease Control’s guidelines for healthy social distancing.
