5th Annual Steps for Vets

Put your best foot forward and help raise money for U.S. VETS - Phoenix. After you register for the race, be sure to send your personal or team fundraising link to all your family and friends. It can be completely customized by you.

All donations must be received by May 1st at 5 p.m.

Prizes for Team/Corporate Fundraisers

If your team raises a collective of $10,000 or more, not only will each person receive a prize above for the individual amount they raised but your team will get their own private party tent right by the start/finish line, shout outs by the DJ prior to the race and other fun items.

Double your donation! Double your impact with matching gifts! Does your company or your team members company have a matching gift program? Check with your HR Department or visit https://www.usvetsinc.org/donate/donate-phoenix/ to see if your company matches. It’s an easy way to help more veterans.

Arizona Charitable Tax Credit – Those making a donation (and not running) to your team’s fundraising goal may qualify for a credit on their Arizona State Taxes. Thanks to the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit a dollar-for-dollar credit will be added to the amount one owes the state – up to $400 or $800. Visit www.usvetsinc.org/phoenix to learn more.

Virtual Run Details

Of course we want you to participate in the Steps for Vets event locally but we understand things come up. So, if you can't join us on race day and still want to run, get the medal and shirt then you still can! Here is your chance to take part in this event no matter where you are! And of course, all prices include shipping! Please note that all items will ship following the event on May 2nd.

Virtual Registrations are restricted to US addresses only. If you reside outside of the US and wish to participate please contact StartLine Racing at info@startlineracing.com

• Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups for the 10K and 5K participants only (Race Day Participants Only). Our age groups are the following:

  • 8 & Under, 9 & 10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & over

• Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Brunch" (granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc)
  

• Chip Timed with Real Time Results and Photos on our Website or Mobile App (on Apple and Google)
  

• Event managed by StartLine Racing. Club SLR discounts do not apply.

• Race Day Packet Pick Up will be available beginning at 6:00am.

  • We accept cash, check, and credit cards on race day
    

• Race Day fees will be $50 for the 10K, $40 for the 5K and $30 for the 1 Mile.
  

• Stroller and leashed pet friendly event!
• This event will take place rain or shine. There are no refunds for due to weather.

• Packet Pick-up is available on Friday, May 1st from 3-6pm at Road Runner Sports in Phoenix (map)

  • Road Runner Sports is located at 7077 E Mayo Blvd, Suite 150, Phoenix, AZ 85054

• Race Day Packet Pick-Up will be available beginning at 6:00am at Rose Mofford Sports Complex (race location).
