Tomas Limas (1918-2003), originally from Meoqui, Chihuahua, proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. He often told stories of his time stationed in Europe, but only shared the tales of the good adventures with his brothers in arms and stories of miracles he witnessed. He was a patriot who loved his adopted country wholeheartedly, only second to his faith in God and love for his family. He was truly a gentleman, a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle and who is dearly missed. Any funds raised at the 5th Annual Steps for Vets in his honor will help other veterans find resources they need.
