A moderately challenging trail half marathon with an escarpment climb at 11 miles. 80% of trail is wide, hard-pack gravel. Follows 12 Mile Creek from head to Erion Road. Proud to be the least expensive and most cost effective half marathon probably on the entire planet. Long sleeve performance T to all pre-registered participants (before May 25th). Name on the back of the race shirt for returning participants. One souvenir glass mug to all finishers. No medals; your mug is more functional! Great post race with food, prizes, and overall/age group awards to runners. Overall male/female awards for walkers. Not recommended for first time runners. Walking division starts at 7 a.m., 2 hours before runners. Register before May 25th, 2020, for guaranteed T shirt. Race day registration, but no T shirt. Donations made to the Niagara Rankin Cancer Run. $800 in 2019 !!
