In honor and celebration of Jameson’s life we are starting the tradition of putting on a 5k charity race for his birthday every year, March Forth For Jameson.
If you don’t know our story, our son passed away two weeks before his due date due to a cord accident.
He was born sleeping on March 4th, 2018.
There was a point where it felt impossible for us to go on without him but we chose to March forth for him.
That is what this race signifies.

Jameson has made such an impact in so many people’s lives and our hope is that he continues to help people through out the years to come. We knew from the second we met our son that he would be special and his life would be meaningful. This is a way for us to help Jameson create his legacy and keep his memory alive. A legacy and memories that he never got the chance to make for himself.

The proceeds will be donated to AZK9 Rescue, a non-profit that is very close to our hearts. We, as a family, are huge animal advocates and we strongly believe in being a voice for the voiceless.

AZK9 is an animal rescue ran by some of the most genuine, selfless, generous, and hard working people we have ever met. They are making a tremendous difference in our community with their efforts to stop the overpopulation, abuse, abandonment, and neglect of animals in Arizona. We would love nothing more than to give back to them in Jameson’s name.

This year's event will feature a 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run

distances and will take place at Freestone Park in Gilbert.

Mail-in Registration and Virtual Run Information

To register by mail please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form!

Can't make it to this year's event but still want to participate? We are excited to announce our March Forth for Jameson Virtual Race. A virtual race is a race that can be ran at any location. You can walk, use the treadmill, run outside or participate in another race. You can run your race at your pace wherever you like. All virtual race participants will receive a custom event finisher's medal and custom event shirt. All you have to do is register above and we will mail you your gear after the event! Please note your shirt and medal will be mailed after the completion of the event on March 8, 2020. Prior to the event all virtual participants will receive an email with instructions on how to submit your time.

Virtual Registrations are restricted to US addresses only. If you reside outside of the US and wish to participate please contact StartLine Racing at info@startlineracing.com

All Participants Receive:

  • Custom Event medal

  • Custom Event Tech Shirt. Choose 'NO SHIRT' option for $5 off your registration.

  • Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups in the 5K distance (race day participants only). Our age groups are the following:

    • 8 & Under, 9 & 10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & Over

  • Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Brunch" (granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc) (Race day participants only)

  • Chip Timed with Real Time Results and Photos on our Website or Mobile App (on Apple and Google)

  • Event managed by StartLine Racing. Club SLR discounts do not apply.

Race Day Information

  • Race Day Registration will be available beginning at 7am at Freestone Park (map).

    • We accept cash, check, and credit cards on race day

  • Cost of registration on race day will be:

    • 5K - $40

    • 1 Mile - $30

  • We welcome wheelchairs, strollers, wagons and leashed pets!

  • No roller blades, skateboards or motorized devices are allowed on the run or walk courses.
