Third Annual 2020 Virtual Colusa Circle 5k

***UPDATED 5.18.20 - Due to the guidelines set forth by Contra Costa Health Services regarding community events and COVID-19, the 3rd Annual Colusa Circle 5k will now be a virtual race, thank you for your understanding.***

Zip Code East Bay is proud to present the third annual Virtual Colusa Circle 5K, a race to raise funds for a charitable cause. Although none of us anticipated our race becoming virtual, we hope you'll still participate in the fun!

This year's race beneficiary is Urban Tilth. Urban Tilth hires and trains local residents to cultivate agriculture in west Contra Costa County to help our community build a more sustainable, healthy, and just food system. They use 7 school and community gardens and small urban farms to teach and employ community members to grow, distribute, cook, and consume thousands of pounds of local produce each year, to create a more equitable and just food system within a healthier and more self-sufficient community.

WHAT TO (OR NOT TO) EXPECT OF OUR VIRTUAL RACE:

- Between June 14th and June 21st, we're asking all race registrants to run, walk or stroll the race course, ending at the Zip Code East Bay office at 380 Colusa Ave.

- The exterior office door will be set up with a "victory wall" for a post-race photo op. Share your photo to social media, tagging Zip Code East Bay, or email us your photo and you'll be entered in a raffle.

- Registration is still open so please encourage anyone looking for a family-friendly shelter-in-place activity to sign up. There is also an option to simply make a donation, of any size, to the right. As a reminder, all race proceeds will be donated directly to Urban Tilth.
