About DGS Thinks Globally and Acts Locally
This year’s school-wide philanthropy is DGS Thinks Globally and Acts Locally.
The monies raised will be split between two environmental organizations: SCARCE in Glen Ellyn, and the Rainforest Trust.
SCARCE (School and Community Assistance for Recycling and Composting Education) helps people discover how easy it can be to make a meaningful difference for our kids, for our environment, for our future…and often for all three at once.
Rainforest Trust is a US-based nonprofit environmental organization focused on the purchase and protection of tropical lands to strategically conserve threatened species.
We are very excited to support these organizations that focus on improving the world for everyone!
We will be collecting gently used books and puzzles for SCARCE at the Trot.
Your donations will be appreciated!
