Four Peaks Kilt Chaser

This year’s Kilt Chaser charity partner is Four Peaks For Teachers, a program that raises funds for and distributes school supplies to teachers in Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. In many school districts across the country, teachers receive little to no funding for classroom essentials before the start of each school year; in fact, 94 percent of public school teachers in the U.S. pay for supplies for their classrooms with money from their own pockets. Since 2011, Four Peaks For Teachers has provided educators in the Southwest with boxes full of school supplies to alleviate some of the financial burden they face.

  • 8 & Under, 9 & 10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & over

Race Day Pickup will be available beginning at 7am.

• There will be no day of registrations available due to City of Phoenix Park Regulations.
  

We welcome wheelchairs, strollers & wagons but please note that it can be very difficult on a desert trail course.

No roller blades, skateboards or motorized devices are allowed on the run or walk courses.

Leashed pet friendly

This event will take place rain or shine. There are no refunds for due to weather.

Parking

• We urge people to park the Four Peaks Brewing Co. 8th Street location ( 1340 E 8th St #104, Tempe, AZ 85281 map) and use the shuttles going to and from the race (7am-10am)
• We have access to the SRP lot ½ mile from the start/finish of the race
  • Parking lot located at the Information Systems Building
  • 1600 N Priest Dr, Tempe, AZ (map)

Post-race

• Shuttles will be running from Papago Park to Four Peaks Brewing Co. until 10am
• A pint is included in your registration, join us after the race at the pub for brunch and happy hour till noon.

You will have two opportunities to pick-up your race packet (bib, chip, event swag, etc):

• Wednesday, November 18th from 3:00 - 6:00pm at Four Peaks Brewing Company (map).

• Saturday, November 21st starting at 7am at Papago Park (event site)

Little-known fact: The colors and patterns on a kilt can communicate a number of things. There are designs for families and clans; states and provinces; schools and universities; sporting activities, and more. In short: Your kilt says a lot about you.

Want to make your kilt a one-of-a-kind work of wearable art? Join us for a kilt decorating party at our 8th Street pub from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, November 18th. We’ll have glue guns, bedazzling kits, and all the materials you’ll need to make your kilt gorgeous.

Entrants to the Kilt Chaser will also have the opportunity to pick up their race kits before designing kilts to dazzle (and distract) their fellow runners.
