Tootsie Roll Run Cancellation

Hello Everyone,

We are sad to announce that we must cancel the Tootsie Roll 1-Mile, 5-K and 10-K Run to benefit Mississippi Olympics. As the race is sponsored by University of Mississippi Registered Student Organization Ole Miss Run Club, we must adhere to the University’s decision to cancel all events. We are thankful for the opportunity to use the University as a running course and respect the decision in the effort so slow the spread of the Coronavirus-19.

After considering the calendar of local events and other races along with other possible routes, and expenses to reschedule, we have decided to cancel the race rather than postpone it.

All registered runners will receive the race t-shirt, and will be given credit to run in next year’s run.

This race is to benefit MS Special Olympics and Organizations for People with Intellectual Disabilities

The race starts and ends at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Oxford, Mississippi.
