My Story…
Dear friends, my dachshunds and I walked a circular route around Rockford Park on the evening of Sept. 8th in order to participate in the 30th Annual Westside Way 5K/10K. We were slow and plodding... occasional stops were necessary... deer were spotted and photographed... canines were encountered and sniffed... the senior among us had to be carried part of the way... :D ...the human among us was red-faced ...and we only completed just under a mile. But we were determined to walk in support of the Westside Way! And I am now hoping to raise $500 by the end of Sept. to support Westside Family Healthcare in its ongoing mission to provide vital health care services for Delaware's most vulnerable and under-served communities. I am aiming to raise at least $25/day over the next 20 days. During these pandemic times, Westside's services are all the more essential, and the need for financial support is all the more critical!!
