West Jackson Rotary Club Community Race

UPDATE: THE 5K COMMUNITY RACE WILL BE HELD AS A VIRTUAL RACE ON AUGUST 1, 2020.

The Rotary Club of West Jackson is a service organization dedicated to serving the West Jackson Community, and bringing together professional leaders who are committed to volunteerism and providing service projects throughout the West Jackson Community.

The safety of our race participants is very important and our top priority. Therefore, we have decided to move our race to a Virtual event due to COVID-19. You may complete a 5K Walk or 5K Run anytime, anywhere. All proceeds from the 5K Race will benefit the West Jackson Community.

Share your Race times, pictures and videos through our official Facebook event page and include #WJRCRace2020 or #WJRCVirtualRace.

There are several options to submit your race times for the 5K Race.

Option 1

➡️If you registered on Race Roster, please submit your results online at https://results.raceroster.com/results/dc956v9bews9mhz7.

OR

Option 2

➡️Use a Race app of your choice

➡️Submit your time and/or photo on the Rotary Club of West Jackson Facebook event page or email westjacksonrotary@gmail.com

➡️Use #WJRCRace2020 or #WJRCVirtualRace when posting (optional)

Option 3

🌟Before the Race🌟

➡️Download- Runkeeper app (free version)

➡️Create a Profile

➡️When ready to race, click Start icon at the bottom of the screen

➡️Change to Free Run located at the top

➡️Click on Activity and select Running or Walking

➡️Click Workout and Change Distance to 3.1 miles

➡️Press Start to begin the 5K Race

🌟At the end of the Race🌟

➡️You can opt to take a pic

➡️Save it to your photos

➡️Submit your time and/or photo on the Rotary Club of West Jackson Facebook event page or email westjacksonrotary@gmail.com

➡️Use #WJRCRace2020 or #WJRCVirtualRace when posting (optional)
