Join us for the 1st Annual
Miles For Migraine - Hartford, CT
Miles for Migraine will host its 1st annual 2-mile Walk/ 5K Run in Hartford as a Virtual Event. This Fundraiser for Migraine & Headache Awareness, Treatment & Research will take place at a time that works best for you between April 29th and May 7th. The original event was scheduled for Saturday May 2, 2020.
All funds raised will benefit The Hartford Headache Center and Yale Headache Center to support local migraine research and fellowship training programs.
We will mail you out your swag bag for receipt before May 2nd (if you sign up after April 22nd, the bag will be mailed on May 8th) that includes your participant shirt, an event bib and finisher medal. There may be a few other goodies included too!
As a virtual event, we encourage you to practice safe social distancing recommendations. Remember, our events are not just for walkers and runners. You complete your walk, your run or your own "Just Relax" activity at a time and place that works for your schedule. Upload your results via a link provided to you a few days in advance of the scheduled event.
Dress up in your best purple flair and post to social media for another chance at a fun prize!

Advocate Closed
If you are a migraine or headache disorders advocate who is not feeling up to a walk, run or volunteer assignment on the day of the event, PLEASE still plan to come join us for this important day of advocacy. We will have a quiet tent at the event for you to rest in. Come out and meet others in your community who understand life with migraine and headache disease and show your community why we need a cure!

From the Corning Fountain, to the Carousel, to the Soldier's and Sailor's Arch, this is a lovely 2 Mile Walk / 5k run route around and through the historic Bushnell Park.
