Funds raised will be placed in the Tyler Harden Memorial Scholarship, which will be awarded to a Zion Benton graduating student who shares Tyler’s love of physical endurance and plans to study personal training or a related field. Please show your support for the family by joining us to run, running virtually, and/or making a donation.

Tyler Harden
Tyler Harden was a 2012 graduate of Zion Benton Township High School (New Tech Campus), where he was a star athlete and academic performer. Loved by all for his kind heart and charismatic personality, Tyler had lots of friends and excelled in nearly everything he attempted.
After graduation he attended Graceland University, where he started on the football team as a cornerback and continued his peak athletic performance. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Corrective Exercise & Performance Enhancement and was quickly recruited by UFC Gym in Costa Mesa, California as an Athlete and UFC Performance Trainer. In both his professional role and personal life, Tyler provided encouragement, support and love to everyone who crossed his path. He changed countless lives both physically and mentally.
Additional Race Information
The Tyler Harden Memorial 5K Run/Walk will take place at Independence Grove on a certified course.
Awards will be given to the top three Male and top three Female finishers.
